Privacy policy

EuroVoyage ("we", "us") is operated by Prarth Desai, based in the Netherlands. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
We collect only what's needed to plan your trip and communicate with you:
- Contact form: Full name and email address, submitted via our intake form.
- Visa Health Check tool: Employment type, monthly income range, travel history, savings range, and trip details. This data is used to generate your visa score and is not linked to your identity unless you separately provide your name and email.
- Road Trip Readiness Quiz: Answers to 8 trip-planning questions and (optionally) your email address.
- WhatsApp communication: Messages exchanged during trip planning and on-trip support, processed through WhatsApp Business.
We do not collect payment card details on this website. Payments are processed through Razorpay or Stripe, which handle your financial data under their own privacy policies.
How we use your data
- To contact you on WhatsApp about your trip inquiry
- To generate your visa score or quiz results
- To prepare and deliver your itinerary, visa documents, or driving guide
- To provide on-trip WhatsApp support
- To send you relevant trip-planning information (you can opt out at any time by telling us on WhatsApp or emailing us)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Where your data is stored
Form submissions are processed by Netlify Forms and stored on Netlify's servers (US-based, SOC 2 compliant). We access this data to respond to your inquiry.
WhatsApp messages are stored by Meta under WhatsApp's privacy policy. We use WhatsApp Business for communication only and do not export or store chat logs separately.
Trip planning data (your itinerary preferences, visa documents you share with us) is stored in our private workspace and deleted within 90 days of trip completion unless you request otherwise.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising pixels. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tools. The site is hosted on Netlify, which may collect basic server logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested) as part of normal hosting operations.
Your rights
You can at any time:
- Request your data: Ask us what data we hold about you.
- Request deletion: Ask us to delete all your data. We will comply within 7 days.
- Withdraw consent: Stop receiving communications by messaging us on WhatsApp or email.
- Correct your data: Ask us to update any incorrect information.
If you are an Indian resident, your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) apply. If you are an EU resident, your rights under the GDPR apply. We comply with both frameworks.
Data retention
We retain your contact information for up to 12 months after your last interaction with us. Trip-related documents (itineraries, visa files) are deleted within 90 days of trip completion. Visa tool and quiz responses are retained in anonymised form for improving our tools.
Children
Our services are not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be communicated via email or WhatsApp to active customers.
